The equinox beckons - join us at our humble log cabin on the tundra below He Maunga Ruapehu to see in the transition from hot summer to cool winter. March 19-24, 2026 (Autumnal Equinox is on March 21) Horopito is located in the central plateau; the heart of Te Ika-a-Maui. Think cozy hearth, fire baths with mountain views, Tongariro crossing, singing to our cow neighbors, wayfaring through a myriad of nearby trails, and grounding into cuddles on fur rug-lined floors. Please keep in mind we have ample room for camping, but indoor spaces are limited, so if you’re looking for an indoor space, best to get in quick!

Faerie gatherings are co-created - so its up to us to bring these days to life, and fill them with magic, ceremony, workshops, drag, dance and connection. Expect a device-free, clothing-optional, sex-positive, queer coming together. Bring an open heart, ideas for workshops, drag to share and let’s create some magic together!
